2025 North west Motorcycle Show:

The North West Motorcycle Show is ramping up again for its 15th year.

The event will be held on February, 8-9 at Anzac Park in Ulverstone. Organisers are hopeful the weather holds out again this year and that the event will attract even bigger crowds than previous years.

For the 2025 show, we are having a different format, bikes in the hall will be a collection of bikes invited to be displayed, these will be from different era’s and types from race bikes, mini bikes, tourers, road bikes, trail/trial bikes and a selection of new bikes as well.

All patrons bikes that are located in the parking area on Anzac Park will be eligible for a number of trophies each day, judging will take place during a set time period which will be advised later. If you have been to Oatlands recently, it will be similar to that format.

From the time the gates open at 10 am on Saturday until the show closes at 3 pm on Sunday, patrons can expect a full programme of entertainment and loads of motorcycle-related exhibits.

A variety of food will be on offer with new food vendors, as well as the ever-popular barbecue by the Leven District Scouts. The Scouts will have breakfast available when the gates open at 10 am on Saturday and 9 am on Sunday and are also running a licensed bar. This is a major fundraiser for the Scouts.

The ever-popular trials display by the Tasmanian Moto Trials Club will be bigger and better has always been a crowd favourite, with riders of all ages showcasing an incredible level of skills, negotiating formidable obstacles which include a car and massive logs.

Show patrons are also encouraged to check out the bikes on display in the Rowing Club Hall. Every year there are different bikes on display, some of which have never been seen on the coast. They range from lovingly restored to customised, modified to pristine examples of bikes from days gone by.

The level of craftsmanship that has gone into these bikes is world-class and a credit to their owners. The committee is grateful to the owners of these beautiful bikes for allowing them to be showcased for the public to enjoy.

As well as viewing the bikes indoors, there is a very impressive 'Lineup' along the Leven River. This changes constantly over the weekend as riders cruise in and out, and it's well worth taking the time to check them out.

If all this motorcycle goodness has you wanting a new ride yourself, there will be a number of dealers on site, some of whom even offer test rides.

North West Motorcycles and Tasmanian Powersports will all have experts on hand to answer any questions you may have about the massive variety of motorcycles available. If two wheels aren't enough to move you, consider dropping in to see CFMoto (Burnie 4x4), who will be bringing side by sides.

It's also a great opportunity to discuss your insurance needs with one of the representatives from Shannons Insurance. Shannons have been generously supporting this local show from the very beginning - it's well worth stopping in and talking to them and maybe getting a quote.

The show is looking to be a great weekend again this year. It's a great day out for motorcycle enthusiasts and is family-friendly.
